Product information "DELTA Scar Phase M, 30ml verbessert passive, ältere Narben "
Scar Phase M (=M stands for mature scar) is intended for scars in the maturation or remodelling phase and should ideally be used following Scar Phase I. Scar Phase M actively promotes correct collagen deposition to reduce scarring, as well as the remodelling of the skin matrix to minimise the appearance of existing scars. The point at which a scar transitions from the active to the passive phase varies depending on the area of the body. It is very important to protect the scar from UV rays using plasters or clothing during the first 12 months.
Surface renewal of mature scars is addressed using keratolytic agents and probiotics to improve epithelialisation and barrier function. Hair follicles are regenerated to mimic their original state, and pigmentation is reduced through various mechanisms, in particular by controlling inflammation.
Tested active ingredients:
- Tripeptide-10-Citrulline: promotes the correct organisation of collagen fibres.
- N-acetylglucosamine-6-phosphate and caffeoylglucoside: promote the remodelling of skin lesions by acting on skin repair mechanisms.
- Carnitine + Coenzyme Q10: for accelerated regeneration.
- 1.5% salicylic acid: keratolytic and anti-inflammatory properties.
- Lactococcus Ferment Lysate: Improves the quality and rate of epidermal growth, thereby enhancing the barrier function and promoting normal epithelialisation. (see ‘Before and After’ example image)
- Tetrapeptide-30 (PKEK): Minimises the inflammatory response characteristic of scar tissue formation. At the same time, it regulates pigmentation.
- Hexapeptide-8 and Pentapeptide-18: Proven to moisturise the skin and improve firmness.
- Extract of Trifolium pratense (red clover) and acetyl tetrapeptide-3: This combination of active ingredients stimulates the regeneration and growth of hair follicles, which are absent in most scar tissue. This is particularly important for scars in the eyebrow and scalp areas.
- Copper tripeptide: promotes the synthesis of ECM proteins and repair genes.
- Encapsulated NAD fragments: for intracellular tissue regeneration.
