Jane’s pressed powder contains no talc and therefore never strips your skin of moisture. The powder is feather-light because, as always, we also avoid using nylon. Available in 26 shades, divided into cool (pink undertones), warm (yellow undertones) and neutral tones, made from micronised, highly water-resistant minerals.
UV Filter SPF20: reflective, micro-sized mineral filters
- Titanium Dioxide: anti-inflammatory, 14% (less in darker shades, see INCI)
- Zinc Oxide: Natural and antiseptic, 3% (less in darker shades, see INCI)
- The six darkest shades contain SPF 15 sun protection to prevent a greyish cast.
- jane iredale NEVER uses nanoparticles, which is kind to both people and the environment.
Key ingredients:
- Boron nitride: Ensures smooth application and a soft finish. Diffuses light and creates a smooth surface.
- Mica: Mica is a naturally occurring mineral. It is used in pigmented products such as face powders to achieve greater coverage and gives the pigments a radiant, shimmering appearance.
- Iron oxides: Help with coverage.
- Plankton and algae extracts: Nourish and soothe all skin types, including mature and sensitive skin, and have an anti-irritant effect.
- Pine bark extract: Promotes an even skin tone and has proven beneficial properties that improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of temporary redness and discolouration.
- Pomegranate extract: Provides natural antioxidant protection and has been shown to unclog pores and clarify and balance the skin.

Refill packaged in a recyclable paper box made from certified paper. Contributes to an estimated annual reduction of 5.28 tonnes of plastic.
Shade selection: Nourishing pine bark extract is used as a binding agent in the pressed powder. Although the powder appears lighter in the compact, the shade names correspond to those of the loose powders and Liquid Minerals. Most users choose a summer and a winter shade, which may also be mixed. All Jane Iredale foundations and concealers can be combined.
