Product information "ELIM Callus Softening Kit"

The Callus Softening Kit replaces the blade and file in your care routine!

It is a keratolytic alkaline solution that softens the protein bonds, making it easier to remove dead skin cells from the heels. Callus Tonic acts only on the outer layer of the heel and softens the stratum corneum. The ideal product for dry, cracked feet. Filing would increase callus formation – this treatment softens the feet and reduces callus formation.
 
What makes me special?
 
Callus Tonic is an alkaline peel, not an acid peel, making it more effective at removing dead, hard skin from the soles of the feet.
 
Soak a large cotton pad with the Softening Tonic. Ensure that the cotton pad is thoroughly saturated. Leave to work for 10 minutes. Remove the cotton pad and scrape off the dry skin. Use the pumice stone provided to remove excess skin. Then neutralise with the Elim Neutralizer, also included in the pack.
 
What are the ingredients and benefits?
  • Sodium hydroxide, which acts as an alkali in solution, raises the skin’s pH level and thus softens dead skin cells.
  • Propylene glycol moisturises and protects against drying out.
  • Glycerine, which is non-toxic, moisturises and prevents the heel from drying out.
 
The Callus Softening Kit includes:
 
1 x 100 ml Callus Tonic
1 x 100 ml pH Neutraliser
1 x pumice stone
1 x scraper
1 pair of latex gloves
 
When using 10ml for both feet, the product is sufficient for approx. 10 applications.

Wrap cotton wool around a cuticle stick and dip it into the Callus Tonic. Gently slide it under thickened toenails to remove excess keratin. Do not touch the skin. You can cover areas that should not come into contact with the tonic with Vaseline, e.g. wounds, bleeding areas, etc.
